Cultural Colors
This summer in Khanh Hoa kicks off with a series of large-scale cultural, artistic, and sporting events. In mid-June, the “Mega Booming Charmora City – Awakening Nha Trang Downtown” music festival will liven up the tourism atmosphere with the participation of many famous artists from Vietnam and abroad. The combination of modern music , a seaside festival atmosphere, local cultural elements, and a high-altitude fireworks display promises to create a highlight, contributing to increased attractiveness for the peak tourist season.

The highlight of the June activities is the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival, taking place from June 26th to 28th at April 16th Square (Phan Rang and Dong Hai wards). This is a national-level cultural event bringing together approximately 700 Cham artisans, performers, and amateur athletes from 7 provinces and cities. Within the framework of the festival, locals and tourists will enjoy performances of traditional festivals and cultural rituals, handicrafts, and Cham ethnic costumes; visit cultural exhibition spaces, OCOP products, and characteristic tourism products of the localities; and participate in many sports activities and folk games reflecting the community’s unique identity. Beyond preserving and promoting the cultural values of the Cham ethnic group, the festival also contributes to enriching the local cultural tourism products.

Also in late June, the Sea Star Nha Trang Bay International Swimming Competition 2026 will take place in Nha Trang Bay, attracting approximately 1,500 domestic and international athletes. Held amidst the azure waters of one of the world’s most beautiful bays, the competition promises to deliver exciting contests and contribute to promoting Khanh Hoa’s coastal tourism to the international community.

Highlights of the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026
Entering July, the highlight of the summer tourism season will be the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 with the theme “Colors of the Ocean – Reaching International Level,” with main activities taking place from July 17th to 19th. The festival includes many outstanding activities such as: the opening ceremony, the “Nha Trang Sea Flower” tourism float parade, the finals of the Vietnam Supermodel and Mr. Vietnam 2026 competition combined with fashion shows and music performances, along with the closing ceremony and an international music festival connecting five continents.

Khanh Hoa province aims for a GRDP growth of at least 9.1% in the first six months of 2026.On June 9th, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province held its regular monthly meeting for June 2026 to assess the socio-economic situation in the first five months of the year and implement key tasks for the coming period. Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, presided over the meeting. Co-chairing the meeting were: Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Ms. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. Also attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial People’s Council, and representatives from various departments, agencies, and localities.

In previous years, Khanh Hoa’s outstanding advantage mainly came from its marine and island resources. However, in the context of increasingly fierce competition among localities and international destinations, relying solely on natural landscapes is not enough to create lasting differentiation.
The province’s current orientation is to develop tourism in depth, using culture, people, and experiences as factors to increase value. Organizing the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, or other international activities not only aims to attract tourists but also contributes to building the image of a destination rich in identity, dynamic, and integrated.
The province’s goal is for every visitor to Khanh Hoa to remember not only the beautiful beaches but also the cultural stories, unique experiences, and the friendliness of the local people. This is the crucial foundation for sustainable tourism development and enhanced long-term competitiveness.

In addition to the main activities, a series of supporting events will take place throughout, including: the Khanh Hoa Bird’s Nest Culture and Culinary Festival, the Vietnamese Ao Dai Festival, the Agricultural Products and OCOP Products Week, the “Delicious Taste of the Coastal City – Melodies of Summer” Trade and Cultural Culinary Fair, street art programs, the Lam Son Fruit Festival, an art photography exhibition on coastal tourism culture, the Khanh Hoa Sailing Race 2026, the 1st Nha Trang City Trail Race, and the Anara Binh Tien Championship Golf Tournament.
Combining culture, sports, cuisine, commerce, and tourism, the Sea Festival continues to affirm its position as a flagship tourism event of the province, contributing to promoting the local image and attracting domestic and international tourists.

The meeting point of world beauty
Following the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, the tourism atmosphere continues throughout August with international sports and cultural activities. On August 9th, the VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2026 is expected to attract approximately 12,000 participants. The Nha Trang coastal running route, along with its integrated tourism services, continues to be an attractive destination for the domestic and international running community.

In particular, Khanh Hoa will host many important activities of the 73rd Miss World competition. Besides the Talent, Fashion, and Charisma segments, the organizers plan to film the contestants at many famous scenic spots, cultural destinations, and tourist attractions in the province. Partnering with one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants will not only contribute to promoting the image of Khanh Hoa’s people, culture, and landscapes but also open up opportunities to reach international tourists.
From the vibrant colors of Cham culture, sea festivals, international sporting events to world-class beauty pageants, summer 2026 is offering a diverse range of experiences for tourists visiting Khanh Hoa. This is not only the peak tourist season but also an opportunity for the locality to affirm its position as a dynamic destination, rich in identity and increasingly integrated with the world.

Khanh Hoa’s tourism industry is maintaining a very high growth rate. However, the important measure of the tourism industry is not only the number of visitors but also the length of stay, spending level, and the likelihood of return visits. The continuous events this summer will create more reasons for tourists to choose Khanh Hoa and stay longer. But to translate this advantage into real economic benefits, it is necessary to continue improving service quality, developing new products, and strengthening linkages between businesses, localities, and the community.
